For ZARENGO, careful handling of personal data is very important. We can thus assure that personal data is carefully processed and protected. We herewith do follow the requirements outlined in the Data Protection Act.

In this privacy policy, we explain which personal information is collected and for what usage. We will also provide an overview of the cookies that are installed. It's therefor important to carefully read this privacy policy.

Personal information

By using the services of ZARENGO, you will leave specific data with us. This can be personal information. The only information we store, is information that is directly supplied by you. We also store information which is clearly stating as provided to us for processing.

When placing an order, we will ask you to fill in the following personal information:

  • your gender
  • your firstname
  • your lastname
  • your e-mail address

The above information is mandatory to handle and process your order. We also need these details, to answer questions related to our services. Lastly, we will use your e-mail address for sending reminders (for example when a subscription ends) and our newsletter.


Our newsletter is intended to inform our customers about new products or services. After a payment has been made through our platform, your e-mail address is automatically subscribed. Every newsletter will contain a unique link, that can be used to unsubscribe yourself from future mailings.

Protection of personal data

On our platform, we use strict safety procedures, to avoid unauthorized access to personal information. We therefor have chosen to enforce a secure connection (Secure Socket Layer or SSL) between you and our server. This assures secure transmission of personal information while using our services.

Sharing with third parties

Your personal information is explicitly not shared with any third parties. An exception would be those third parties whom are directly responsible and involved for the service requested through us.

Visitor information and click behavior

When you visit our website, we do store general visitor information. An example of such information would be the ip address of your connection, the timestamp and the details passed on by your browser. The reason we store these details, is for making statistical analyses regarding click- and browser- behavior on the website. Of course we do what we can to anonymize such details. It's important to know that we don't share this information with any third party.

This privacy policy is explicitly not applicable on (external) third party websites, connected with our website through a link. It's impossible for us to provide any guarantee on how these third parties will handle your personal information. We therefor strongly recommend you to carefully read there privacy policy at first.

Use of cookies

While providing our service, we make use of cookies. A cookie is a simple and small file, your browser will receive while visiting our website. This is stored locally. Through this cookie, we can combine the various page visits you make at our website. It allows us to view how our visitors browse the website. With this information, we're capable to provide a (even) better experience. It's also possible to reject such cookies. This may restrict the functionality and ease of use of the website. Google Analytics and AdWords

When visiting our website, cookies are being placed by the American company Google. These cookies are being placed for the "Analytics" and "AdWords" services. We use these services to track how visitors are using our website. It also helps us to understand how visitors react to our advertisements. Google may provide this information to third parties if it is obliged to do so by law, or insofar as third parties process information on Google’s behalf. The information gathered by Google is anonymised as far as possible. The information is transferred to Google and saved by it on servers in the United States. We are not capable to influence the use of data by Google.

We have authorized Google to use analytical information for other Google services. To read and learn how Google will handle your (personal) information, we recommend you to read there privacy policy. Please bear in mind this does change frequently. Google however, does anonymize information as much as possible. Google claims to follow the Safe Harbor principles and is affiliated to the Safe Harbor program of the US Department of Commerce. This means that there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Facebook, Twitter and Google+

Our website will have buttons that allow you to promote a page ("like") or to share it ("tweet"). This will happen through social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+. The code for these buttons, is generated by the social networks. Through these code, cookies will be placed. It's therefor important to read the privacy policy of these companies at first, to have a better understanding of how your (personal) information is being handled.

Gathered information will be anonymized where possible. Twitter, Facebook and Google+ will transmit (personal) information to servers in the United States. These social networks claim to follow the Safe Harbor principles and are affiliated to the Safe Harbor program of the US Department of Commerce. This means that there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Amendments to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this policy. We recommend that you consult this policy regularly, so you are aware of these amendments. The last change made to this policy, was on: 24 june 2021.

Right to inspect and to correct or delete your data

You are entitled to make a request to inspect your data and to have it corrected or deleted. At our contact page, you will find our contact details. To avoid fraud, we do ask you for adequate identification. If your request to inspect personal data relates to a cookie, you should send a copy of the cookie in question. These can be found in the settings menu of your browser.
